Ray & Marcy’s travel story goes right back to the moment they met.
Ray had been vacationing in the San Juan islands in Washington state, just south of Vancouver. Marcy had been vacationing in Whistler, BC.
Both of us were booked on the red-eye flight from Vancouver back to Calgary on July 1, 1996. Ray and Marcy met for the very first time at the gate waiting area for the flight. We introduced ourselves and chatted casually while waiting for the plane to board.
When boarding started, we both pulled out our boarding passes and couldn’t believe it when we discovered our seats were side-by-side! Destiny seemed to be knocking…
In keeping with the tradition of travel, our wedding took place in St. Lucia in the carribean on January 8, 1998.
